Here is the latest data on the companies our spies have found in the field.
Summary:
Since we started this site, we've done pretty well. We've had two solid winners (ARSW, IBII), and one semi winner (PRXX). CYTP hit our first target on 5-17. CPTC is up 36% from our buy in. HYTT was a loser due to bad info. (responsible spy has been terminated with extreme prejudice).
Past results are in the Winners/Losers Section. Here's a recap:
Winners: ARSW, IBII, PRXX, CYTP.
Losers: HYTT.
Latest Update:
5-26-2004. Wed. CPTC hits 1.50+, passes first target of $1.47.

CPTC

5-26-2004. Wed. Passes first target of $1.47
5-24-2004. Mon. CPTC reaches 1.43. Up 36% from buy in.
5-5-2004. Wed. Up 25% from our entry. OHLC: .95/1.25/.94/1.25.
4-22-2004. Thu. OHLC: 1.01/1.01/.97/.97.
4-15-04. 1.03x1.05. In at 1.05. This company has a unique product: Electric power line cable using a synthetic core. They're struggling to become viable. Price has been dropping slowly lately, and seems to have reached some type of bottom ($1 area). This may become one of our longer term investments while we wait for some contracts, and it seems like a good time to get in. With any good news, this will move rapidly. Targets: Short term: $1.47, $1.95. Long term: $10+??. Company website: Composite Technology.

Gold
|
| |
4-21-2004. Wed. Price: 391.
3-31-2004. Price: 435. Gold is hitting new highs, and some people think we may be headed for an economic crisis (checked gas prices lately?), where gold of course shines. There are several gold stocks out there, and gold stocks generally outperform the actual commodity. If you want to play with the real deal, i.e. gold futures, the way to go is with options. That way you limit your loss to the amount invested, and the cost is lower as well. You'll need a commodities broker to trade the actual metal. James Freeman (800) 834-3264 is a good one, and his commissions are low. The best site we've found for commodities trading info is
TFC Trading Charts. They have a forum and everything. A low cost way to get into it would be to buy some way out-of-the-money options. Maybe some August or October 500's and above.
